As part of the first annual Grassroots Game Conference, held from April 23 through April 29, 2012 throughout the city of Philadelphia, a Unity development-focused social event was held.
Located in the studios of WHYY, a large group of people gathered to share, learn about, and demo various aspects of game and application development using the Unity engine.
In attendance were many local developers including Dave Buchhofer of EwingCole DMG, Jake O’Brian of Philadelphia Unity Users Group and Flyclops, Will Stallwood of Cipher Prime Studios, Shawn Pierre of OrigamInc, and Sean Weiland of Double Veh Audio, Real Dedicated, and Precis Intermedia Gaming.
This event was held on April 27, 2012.
The Grassroots Game Conference is an endeavor of the Philadelphia Game Lab.
