Three “Big Five” teams entered the Madness, yet only one remains. But local college basketball fans can still follow the run of the Villanova Wildcats as they  to face the Oklahoma Sooners on April 2, 6:09 pm and the North Carolina Tar Heels vs. Syracuse Orange at 8:49 pm.

March Madness is no misnomer. The NCAA Division 1 men’s basketball tournament takes over the country for three weeks, bringing together the Goliaths of college basketball and the underdog programs dreaming of cutting down the nets. Number 10-seed Temple dropped a heartbreaker to Iowa, coming up a basket short. St. Joseph’s reached the second round and almost upset the #1 seed Oregon Ducks. Both teams proved anything can happen.

Villanova, meanwhile, plays at the NRG Stadium in Houston. If you don’t plan on heading to Houston this weekend, click HERE to find out where to root for your team.
